Philosophy is analyzing a subject of matter and looking at it from numerous prospectives. It gives ideas and conclusions based off of rational contemplation, and practical reasoning. Religion similar in that it gives insights upon a rational, self-interested thought, but it is concealed upon the stronger force that is acting on us.
The study of philosophy is important because we should be able to think like humans not animals. We should be able to know the consequences of our action and the variety of choices we have when doing anything. We need to realize and admit that our self-interested thoughts exist. Study of Religion is important because it might sanctify one's soul and be a turing point.
My religion essentially identifies who i am in the spiritual level. I am a christian and I was born a christian. It was always normal for me to go to church on Sundays and sit through sermons. The first 12 or 13 years of life rejected religion and the immaturity took over the love for spiritual belief. However, as time passed I started seeing the work of my religion and how it was affecting my life as well as others. Now I believe my god exists.
My religion impacts my family because it gives us a reason to unite one more time. Rather than sleeping in on Sunday’s, we get up and have brunch together and go to church together. The sense of unity is what builds a family relationship and by practicing religion, I think it is being pursued. Also, we have a common thought, or common appreciation for things because our mind is set to our religious motives. Its just great that we have something in common to share.
Christianity is officially world’s largest religion. It impacts a lot other people other than myself. Where ever I go, I can assume there is someone that understands me in the spiritual level and that is a relief. There is not one thing that you can say that affects you or your society. It is the general atmosphere that you feel around the people with the same religion. This happens because you and they have had the courage to have unconditional faith in something that has not been proved to be true. And that is why you are wanting other people to believe in it as well.
